Photo session for families and children
Most family and children photo sessions are taken at a location close to the families home. Here on the Northern Beaches one of our beaches makes a great location or some people prefer the surrounding native bushland. Both locations are great from toddlers upwards. If the photo session is primarily a baby photo session then either your home or my studio is generally more appropriate. I travel for family portraits within the Sydney area.
My aim is for the children to play and have fun as this is the how timeless images are captured. Generally at the start of the session I take the “safe” and more traditional photo’s , then often as the children relax and have fun the best images are made. I generally find the older children respond well to outdoor photos as well and it is great if the family dog can come along as it provides a good distraction and allows for more natural photos.
Portrait sessions generally take about 1 to 2 hours. I only book one session a day so there is no rush. If it decides to rain we reschedule to another mutually suitable day.
Your images will be available in both colour and black and white.

Session fee is $140 for weekdays and weekends. This includes $100 credit towards prints,
